Cheapest Deals for Direct TV Plans

I have been considering switching to Direct TV for years, but I have not done it yet. However, recently my current provider, has raised the prices for my television service, and I am pretty sure that I can get a cheaper price, and a better service elsewhere. That is why I started to look for deals on the internet, and that is when I came across this site: From what I can tell it looks like they have some good deals, and it is a good bit better, than what I am currently getting.

I like that the basic plan that they have listed on this site, is less than 50 dollars, even if it is only slightly less than 50 dollars. However, I am probably going to get more than just the basic plan. Read the rest of Cheapest Deals for Direct TV Plans »

Have a Leak? Get It Repaired!

What do you do when you, indeed, have a leaky roof? Well, there are a few things you can do when you realize that your roof has a leak. Once you have located a leak, placed a bucket under it, and know that the water is dripping into the bucket, you should find reliable roofers in Bronx NY. Ask them to come to your home as soon as possible because you suspect a roof leak. When they come to your home, they will complete a thorough inspection to determine the source of the leak, why it is leaking, and, most importantly, how to fix it.

We all know that you want your home to be safe from Mother Nature’s elements, especially when that big thunderstorm arrives. Read the rest of Have a Leak? Get It Repaired! »

The Importance of Having Property Inspected

Before buying a property, it’s always a good idea to do home inspection. You might discover that you’ll be having to hire roofing contractors in NYC! What should you do during the home inspection? Your primary task is to observe and listen. Watch and get familiar with how your inspector does his job. Ask questions. He should welcome your participation in the inspection. There should be few if any issues you don’t know about after the inspection.

There’s someone else you may want present when the home inspection is performed-your real estate agent. If you’re comfortable with your agent, she can provide moral support for you during the inspection. Besides, your agent knows you may refer others to her if she’s supportive of you all the way through the buying or selling process. If you haven’t met your home inspector in person before the inspection, perhaps your agent can introduce you to one another. Buying or selling a home can be a fearful ordeal. Living Near Family and Saving More Money Sounds Good to Me

After living in the mountains for many years, I decided that I was ready for a move and a change of scenery. My wife passed away last year, and I decided that also meant that I had no real reason to stay where we had lived together for 30 years. My son suggested that I move to where he lives in Texas. I had been complaining about my energy costs to him, and he said I should check out to see what offerings there are in Texas. He said he hoped that it would be just one of many things that would help me make my decision.

The number one reason to move to my son’s state is that he and my grandchildren are located there. I would love to have more time with them, and this is something my wife had always hoped for, too. Read the rest of Living Near Family and Saving More Money Sounds Good to Me »

Started to Think About Satellite Tv

Obviously I am not a big fan of my cable company. They may have some of those, but I never met them. If they do it is probably some dude who owns their stock or something like that. The only thing that is making me hesitate is trying to figure out what to do about the Internet. Getting a better deal on satellite is as easy as saying it. If you just click here you can see what they are charging for a package of satellite tv. Of course you have to look at the fine print and not just the numbers that they have in big bold letters. You have to be be careful because the deal that says it costs you 20 dollars a month is not 20 dollars a month for the rest of time. Read the rest of Started to Think About Satellite Tv »

Gaining a Diverse Selection of Skills

I’ve been installing shower doors in Union County NJ for about a week now. Looking for a new job in this market has been surprisingly easy, especially considering the fact that I have very little experience in construction work. Despite this, my new boss has been more than willing to help me. He’s given me near free run in multiple projects which has allowed me to practice my skills while focusing on those that I feel I need to work on. On top of this he makes suggestions as to what I should work on as well and the combination of these approaches has been huge in helping me gain understanding.

I would have never predicted that I would be doing this sort of work. The vast majority of the type of work I’ve done in the past has always been technical, electronics or customer service. Before, I would have considered my skill at working with my hands fair at best. I was always apprehensive whenever approaching a project that would require that sort of technical know how but ever since I’ve begun working here I’ve improved drastically. Leasing a New Place for Mom in Jacksonville, Florida

My mom was in the hospital in Florida. My wife and I were on the phone all of the time with her, the hospital and doctors. It would be so much easier if we could just stay there to help her through this. Mom moved to Florida to be close to her sister, but she is much older than mom and not able to care for her. My wife and I both work from home. We have our own business. There are no kids. It is just us and our dog. I looked at an ad that said click here for nice Jacksonville apartments. I took a look to see if we could afford a place for the time it would take to help her recover.

Her prognosis was good and mom was a fighter. Read the rest of Leasing a New Place for Mom in Jacksonville, Florida »

Just Moved Across the Texas State Line

It is not something that I ever did before, but I guess that you can pick and choose Texas power companies. I moved across the Red River, but it is really just a few miles South on Interstate 30 from where I had been living. Of course I sort of decided to move here for Tax reasons. I found a cheap piece of land just across the State line and I realized that if I moved a few miles and changed my residence to Texas I would not have to pay State income taxes. It makes a good bit of sense to me, but of course I am not working in just one state. Read the rest of Just Moved Across the Texas State Line »

Finding a Bergen County Painter in New Jersey

I do not like the way that my house looks at the moment, and so I am very much considering that I will just change everything. One thing I know that I want to change, and it is probably the first thing that I need to do, is to have the interior of my house painted. So I have decided to look for a painter in Bergen county NJ that will be able to paint my house for a good price and also do a good job on it. The latter is the most important part because I am going to be doing this stuff to my house, in order to make it look better.

I am pretty sure that I do not have the money to get everything done right now. But I have a plan to replace most of the furniture and art that is currently in my house. It all needs to go, because I am not satisfied with any of it. I guess it is kind of sad that I don’t like it more, but it is what it is. Just Got the Funeral over with

We have been up in New Jersey for about a week and a half now. My grandfather passed away. He did not leave all that much, but of course some of my cousins and my aunt and uncle are fighting over it. That would have been fine with me, but they made me the executor. I kind of got made at all of them and threatened to put all the money in the ground with him. It is not as if it could not have been done. Between the cost of funeral monuments in Bergen County NJ, the cost of a nice coffin and paying for all of the stuff that goes along with it you could easily spend this much money on burying a person. Keeping Food Fresh for Longer

Keeping our foods fresh is one of the most challenging hurtles that we face in today’s world. For any country, whether first or third, extending the shelf life of our food is a priority. I have looked into several different methods to achieve this, whether it’s from utilizing preservatives into our food during preparation or something akin to modified atmosphere packaging. Personally, I would like us to avoid most preservatives unless we focus on more short term types such as salt. Modified Atmosphere is a great technique as it controls the levels of specific chemicals within the storage container, ensure that they are appropriate to preserve whatever is being held in the container. Working Together for a More Healthy Cable Television

I’ve been a customer of Suddenlink now for about five months with nothing but great things to report so far. I was surprised to find a cable company who was so eager to help me setup with them that I thought I may have called the wrong number or perhaps I was just dreaming! I think most Americans at this point are growing used to the abuse that comes from the other big named cable companies that we simply expect it to happen from all of them. It’s not like we’ve had the luxury of experiencing the freedom of choices when it comes to choosing which provider we want.

I really do think that the the nation’s cable grid should just be open ended. Read the rest of Working Together for a More Healthy Cable Television »

Cheap Prices for Advanced Home Security Systems

I have purchased a new house, and now I am going to try to protect it. I had a list of all of the things that I wanted to do in advance of my family moving into the house, but one of the things that I overlooked, and did not put on the list, was to get a home security system put into the house. I believe that it is smart to have a security system in your house, especially if the crime rate is even somewhat bad in your area.

I know that personally, if I were to forgo having a security system in my House, and something were to happen to my family, that I would feel completely terrible, and I am not sure that I would be able to live with myself going forward. As such, I think that it would be a great idea for me to get a security system that has a lot of advanced features. Read the rest of Cheap Prices for Advanced Home Security Systems »

Thinking About Moving Down to Fort Worth

I am thinking about moving down to Fort Worth and taking a job with a guy I used to work with about ten years ago. He has been trying really hard to talk me in to it, mostly because he seems to think that he is going to have a much easier life if I am down there to take care of the little things for him. Apparently he has had a hard time finding a right hand person to do this stuff for him. I am thinking about stuff like the cost of moving and living there. is the site that I am at now. I was doing some research and I learned that you could pick between a number of electric companies if you live in Fort Worth. I was just curious about that stuff and I thought it would be simple to figure out the electric rates down there, but you get to choose between a bunch of different companies. There is TXU, Reliant and a couple of other ones.

Of course I was mostly wondering about other stuff, like the cost of internet and the cost of a tv package and all of the stuff like that. Of course you have to figure out what you are going to get for a place to live. I could live very simply in a trailer if I was not afraid of tornados. I am aware that they are attracted to trailer parks and they have a lot of them in that area of the world. It is not as though it is not my idea of some thing that I should be really afraid of. I saw one once when I was a kid and I was real impressed by it. I definitely do not want a better look at one.

Your Very Own Wind Generator in Texas

It would be interesting to build your own wind turbine. It may look like a hobbyist’s thing to do. However, with the global financial and energy crisis, creating your own wind-generated power can prove to be beneficial to you and your home especially if you are working with one of the energy providers in Texas who are willing to buy the energy that you generate! There is an increasing popularity for alternative energy resources. Most of the people who are looking for ways to cut down on their power bills are turning to natural energy to provide power for their homes.

This has caused them to cut down their bills or be in fact 100% free from having to pay any electricity charges. Read the rest of Your Very Own Wind Generator in Texas »

Saving Money Through Green Energy

Texas is one of the few states that is large enough and has enough natural energy to be capable of hosting several energy companies which allows for a great deal of competition within the state. When I moved out to the area last year, I had no idea that there would be so many options for energy! I had decided that I was going to change my ways regarding energy and become more conscious about how I used it on an every day basis. I found to be an incredibly useful website that showed me the varying energy companies that were offering their services directly, giving me a great idea as to how much I would be spending on a month to month basis. After receiving my first month bill, I was able to gauge exactly how much I would be spending on an annual basis since the weather here in Texas is not nearly as varying as it is back in Kentucky!

Some of the companies actually have plans where you can actually buy ‘green’ plots of energy that come with a specific amount of energy allotment. Whatever energy that you don’t use, you can sell back to your company or it will roll over to your next cycle. If you install solar panels, you can actually become a ‘plot’ yourself and sell whatever energy that you don’t use from your solar energy to the company which in turn will piece it out amongst the neighborhood or however they decide to utilize the energy that you’re harvesting for them. It’s a wonderful plan and if it goes as well as I think it will in the next couple of months, I will most likely seek out to make solar energy my primary source of energy while I’m in Texas.

Letting Go of the Fear After a Robbery

Home security is an important factor that needs be taken into consideration whenever you own a home. I would have never thought that in my neighborhood I would be resorting to calling ADT to have a security system put into place after a string of robberies that hit multiple houses. It was a shocking development that had many of my neighbors even suspicious of one another! Friends that had been living side by side for years suddenly turned on one another as accusations flew. It was a month later that the criminal responsible for the spree was caught along with the return of many of our missing items.

The neighborhood hasn’t been the same since that happened. The experience has left many of us feeling vulnerable and exposed. There was a time before all of this happened that many of us would get together in the evening to enjoy the warm, pleasant weather and the company of each other. Now? Not so much. I Needed a New Custody Arrangement

flashWhen my divorce was finalized, I had a mix of emotions. I was happy that I was finally free from a loveless marriage, but I felt horrible for my two children. They had not spent a lot of time with their father since he was always too busy for family activities, yet his lawyer had insisted that the children spend a liberal amount of time with him. They would get anxious before the visits and withdrawn and sullen after coming home to me. I knew I had to do something. After looking at, I knew that I needed to hire a new lawyer.

The lawyer I had for the divorce handled the financial aspects of the divorce perfectly, but got me to relent on the custody issues after telling me that my ex would fight me tooth and nail for his parental rights. Read the rest of I Needed a New Custody Arrangement »

Vitamin D

Vitamin D has had an increased amount of attention in the media over the past few weeks, due to its importance in the growth and development of our muscles and bones. Doctors have been looking at its role in proper functioning in the immune system, especially in new born babies.

Vitamin D has several important functions, it helps regulate the amount of calcium and phosphate in the body. These substances are needed to keep bones and teeth healthy. Experts have suggested that due to lack of Vitamin D throughout pregnancy new born babies are being born with bone deficiency’s in particular Rickets. Rickets is a childhood bone disorder where bone soften and become prone to fractures and deformity. Although the main cause of Rickets is a lack of Vitamin D, a lack of calcium in ones diet is another.

Recent studies have shown that 1 in 4 toddlers are found to be lacking in vitamin D, and even more worryingly senior paediatric pathologists have discovered vitamin D deficiency in a significant number of children who have died of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome. A study conducted by Dr Cohen found that 75% of babies who had died of natural causes were deficient in Vitamin D.

There are also fears such deficiencies may have lead to children being taken away from their parents, when it is in fact rickets that are responsible for the deaths and injuries that are thought to be suspicious. In 2009 rickets were discovered by Dr Schoenberg, in a 4 month old baby whose parents had been accused of shaking him to death.

Although most people get enough Vitamin D from sunlight and food the Department of Health recommends all pregnant and breastfeeding women, children aged six months to five years and people aged 65 and over should take daily vitamin D supplements.

It is not essential that you need Vitamin D in your diet every day, because any of the vitamin your body does not need immediately is stored for future use. However The Department of Health advises those who take Vitamin D supplements can safely take up to 25 micrograms (0.25mg) a day.

Many Vitamin D supplements are already in pregnancy tablets such as, the Viridian Pregnancy Complex which contains Vitamin D2 (Ergocalicferol) which is plant derived.

Just Got Settled into My New Place

I am finally moved out of the place that I had been sharing with a couple of guys I met while I was studying at UNC Greensboro. We had one of those old houses out in the neighborhood near Spring Garden and Tate Street. I liked it a lot when I was going to college, because it was within an easy bike ride of all of my classes. Now I have to get my own place and I am going to be paying all of my bills too. I guess the north carolina time warner company is not going to get my business though. I need good contact management software for a business directory?

  1. I need good contact management software for a business directory?

I dont really need any type of Customer relationship management software. Just a good database for which I can store a business directory on. The most important feature i guess would be that i need to be able to sort the contacts by industry sector, location, and to be able to group multiple contacts to one business.

    Thanks in advance.

  2. We need to produce business directory listings for a business and community information resource site. What would be the fastest, most reliable method of collection for this information? We plan to expand into a wide variety of areas -cities, counties, regions, etc.- and require the ability to collect, update and manage the information quickly, on a regular basis. Our users, both novice and experienced internet users, would basically be using us as a “Business and Community Portal” for city and regional information. Thank You.
Its aimed to be a local “city centric” portal not just for business directories, but for news, information, and community cooperation. We hope to incorporate a social networking aspect -by connecting to current relevant social networking sites- and provide local advertising, articles, tourism information, and community forums.
We plan to list local resources (museums, parks, government, etc.) and companies as a free service, in a basic directory. However, as a business model, to generate sales and revenue, the businesses and organizations can then purchase premium profile listings that will feature thier logo/trademark, expanded information (incl. website link), a brief description of thier services, as well as social media links, etc. We will aslo sell digital media advertising in the form of banner ads, featured ads, article links, and partner pages.
We are constantly looking into new ideas and exhisting methods and uses to intergrate into our sites. We welcome community and client feedback for features they would like to see available on such a portal. We realize there are similar sites (mostly managed by larger corp. conglomerates), but few that are attempting to make these sites specifically more localized with pertinant information for the location they represent.

Depends on a lot of things, but the easiest way if your directory is not too big, is to use Excel. Set up your columns to support your items of need and go with it. If this is too simplistic, consider constant contact.

  5. I have an online local (small city) business directory and rather to ask business owners to add their list, I want to copy and add list from yellow pages to my business directory, is this legal or not? Should I advertising so that business owners add their list, will this be more legal? Any suggestions are welcome.

Yes you can do that as long as you dont sell the information to someone else.

Introduction To Bitcoins

Bitcoins are a digital currency created in 2001 by Satoshi Nakamoto. It is based on open source software and P2P networks with no central authority or issuers. The coins are saved on your computer in a wallet file or in a third party wallet. They can be exchanged between anyone with a Bitcoins address. The database of transactions is spread across a peer to peer network. They also use digital signatures to ensure they are only spent once and by the person who owns them.

They are created by a process known as Bitcoin mining. There is where you use CPU power on your computer in order to generate them. This also generates the encryption keys which keep bit coins secure. By generating the encryption you are rewarded with Bitcoins for your effort.

While the transactions are public the transactions themselves are psudeononymous. Many people who are concerned about privacy like to use Bitcoins for this reason.

They are bought and sold through exchange sites. There they can be exchanged into traditional currencies like the Dollar or Euro or for virtual world currencies like the Linden dollar.

Bitcoins have no central control so they cannot be controlled by any government or authority. There are also no chargebacks.

There is a limit to how many can be created. There can be 21 million Bitcoins in total. This is to avoid the currency from becoming worthless from overproduction like fiat money. Diminishing geometric expansion combined with the expansion of Bitcoins provides an incentive for early adopters.

There are some scenarios of for failure that could happen to Bitcoins. These include a currency devaluation, a declining user base and a global government crackdown on the software and exchanges.

In order to get started to generate and trade Bitcoins you have to download and install what is called a Bitcoin client to your computer. This will give you the Bitcoin wallet and address. When people want to pay you give them your Bitcoin address and they send it to there.

If you want to make Bitcoins you are going to have to mine them. You do that by giving up your processing power to the Bitcoin network so it can encrypt transactions. You can create one block every ten minutes. Every block is 50 Bitcoins. You can use your computer to generate them when you are not using it or create mining rigs dedicated for that purpose.

Bitcoins are a true 21st century currency. If you want to see how currencies of the future will be like download the Bitcoin client and start mining and trading today.

Season Six has indeed started, it started on October 14th. Part 1 will end December 16th and then part 2 will pick up sometime next year.

Last season Christian thinks he can live longer or survive his cancer by cyrogenically freezing himself. So he goes and sets up having his own chamber when he passes away. Sean starts to face dealing with the fact that Christian will not be around soon and he continues his relathionship with Teddy. Its revealed that Teddy also is a anesthesiologist in Las Vegas and goes by the name of Dixie. She is married to the plastic surgeon who works there and she later kills him. Kimber and Rams marriage falls apart and you start to see that she is becoming jealous that Christian is marrying Liz. The doctors treat a couple who act like vampires, continuously bite themselves and go too far. Even after surgeries they continue to bite and “feed” off of each other. Chrisitan and Liz get married. Later, while they are preparing to leave for the honeymoon Christian recieves a phone call from his doctor. The doctor tells him that his medical records got switched with another patient when he was told he was not in remission. It turns out that Christian is in remission and is not dying. This is how the season ends.

Also a note, Teddy is in Season 6 but is played by another actress.

Bulk Email Software Systems

Bulk emailing has a massive influence upon the connectivity with your client data base and the direct influence upon your companys bottom line or profits.
It is not something that you should be considering doing – but rather you should be considering how to go about doing the mailing. The software involved in the control and sending of bulk e mailing lists is easily available but comes with the following few warnings.
Quality of the software
unfortunately software very often only shows its weaknesses to us long after we have paid for it and have committed ourselves to a long and bumpy path using that software. Please do not get me wrong – there are a lot of high quality and very sophisticated software systems available that will do your bulk e mailing in an extremely efficient way. But you need to be triple certain that you have got the best value for your money before you buy some untried software.
I strongly suggest that if you are going to go the route of purchasing the software to run your own bulk mailing that you do your research very carefully. To the point where you even join the mailing lists of a company that uses the very software that you wish to use.
Running the software programs
No matter how big your business is you are going to be running this software yourself or you are going to need a full time expert assigned to the running of your software. This does not count that you are probably going to need a small marketing department at the same time. The very last thing you need to do to your customer base is to irritate the hell out of them and cause years of damage control.
Equally a poor IT expert sitting in a back office at your business could just as easily foul up the works and send everybody the same message 35 times. Naturally once you have to system running smoothly you should not need to keep awake at nights worrying about details like this.
Can your servers handle the extra workload?
Depending upon the size of your business and data base you might put undue strain on your operating system and cause your entire computer network to blow up or melt down. I am fully aware as to how important it is to never have a seconds downtime ever.
So before you go off and try to hook up monster software programs that might put a strain on the electrical grid in your city – please check that it all fits together nicely.
Have you looked at the professionals?
Obviously if you are here reading a report on the basics of bulk email marketing and software then you are very likely already a professional and successful business owner. I would be a fool to think otherwise, but I still need to point out that sometimes more money spent setting up a professional outfit to run and control your bulk marketing is probably the better way to go.
These guys do it for a living, they are so hooked up to the latest ideas and newest trends that you could be doing yourself a serious disservice by trying to save money or control the operation yourself.
Plan it all very carefully, all the pros and cons, and if you do it that way you should end up with the best package to suit your business.
This website is the way to go, if you need to make a balanced decision in relation to the bulk marketing of your business. If you also need up to date information about Mobile marketing then you need to go here

How does someone without experience sell a movie script?

  1. I am an unknown who wants to sell a script. Its a bit like the newer Karate Kid, meaning its dramatic and a bit funny, but a little too much for Disney. Which producer should I try to sell it to and how would I go about doing it?

    Answer by meat
    You dont.

Once youve finished your screenplay, you protect it and find someone to sell it for you – an agent or a manager.

You register your work through the Writers Guild of America West here:

And you get an agent or a manager by picking up a copy of the Hollywood Representation Directory and compiling a list of every agent or manager that represents writers in the genre you write in. Then you send them all query letters (you dont send your screenplays). Interview the ones that respond, and pick the one that you believe will work the best for you and be the best fit. Remember that the agent or manager you pick works for YOU, not the other way around. This person will then shop your work for you.

  2. My friend and I wrote a script and its completed. We would love to send it in to a major production company or to someone like Seth Rogen, Will Ferrell, Jonah Hill, etc. Since it is a comedy like Superbad, Sex Drive, The Virginity, etc. wed like to send it in to someone whos worked in many comedies but we have no clue how. Any tips?

    Answer by meat
Register your work with the Writers Guild of America, West ( to protect your interests.

Get a copy of the Hollywood Representation Directory. Write a query letter to every agent or manager in it that you think would represent you. Respond promptly to the ones that write back. Hire the one that you feel the most comfortable with.

Theyll represent you and shop your work for you.

  3. I am just starting out so a free legal directory would be great. I practice family law in Ellicott City MD if that helps. I would like to cover all my areas of law including divorce, separation, child custody, mediation. A free legal directory to submit to would be great.

    Answer by Mark
There are a couple of places you can submit to I believe.
    Try submitting your website to

It is a free legal search engine which is pretty much the same thing as a legal directory. You may be able to submit to your local and state bar association as well.
Most legal directories such as Nolo, Findlaw, and usually charge a monthly fee for a 1 year commitment. If it is less than $ 40/month, it might not be a bad deal. Also, I would see if you can do some link swapping with some other lawyers that your refer business to in Ellicott City such as bankruptcy, criminal, estate planning, real estate, etc.
I think you can also list on for free and some of the yellow pages provide legal directories.

How do you script a Pokemon game? Where can I find the scripts online?

  1. I want to find the script of certain games, not change the text.

However I cant find the scripts online and it seems hard to script a game.

    Answer by The Dharmatist
Im not entirely clear on what youre referring to… if youre wanting to get a copy of the text from a Pokemon game, try looking on GameFAQs ( There are scripts for a few of the games on there. (Theres one for Blue but none for Platinum or Ruby, those are the only games I glanced at.) If the particular game youre wanting to obtain a script for doesnt have one on GameFAQs, youd have to rip it yourself. You can find information on RHDN ( on how to do that.

If youre wanting to change how the game works, thats a lot more complicated. Unlike some PC games, there isnt just a “script” that you have to edit, it requires a whole lot of programming work. Some Pokemon games have level editors and such but it still requires considerable work to make major changes.

PokeCommunity ( is a site dedicated to Pokemon, including a large number of Pokemon hackers. You can probably find people there that can help you with either thing.

  2. Okay, so I made some scripts that will be distributed in the future, and I was wondering how to protect them from editing. Is there something the script should be converted to?
I mean, say if I gave the script out to people online, how can I make it something such as closed-source?

    Answer by jplatt39
Im not sure what you mean, but generally Linux uses the UNIX permission setup: read write and execute permissions are available for root, the users group and the user. You can give users the right to execute and read but not write to (or write over) files, or to just execute and not read or write them (but they might have a problem finding them). However usually you can make a copy of just about anything and change permissions on the copy even if you dont have permission to change the original.

In other words, since a shell script is just a text file, with a smart determined user, you cant. You can and should of course, deny most users permission to write to the script. But they can still edit a copy.

  3. I really want to start reading movie scripts, i read one not too long ago and they are so entertaining. i already have a few other scripts in mind that i want to read. can i buy movie scripts at a bookstore like borders or barnes and noble or anywhere cheap and reliable online? please tell me if you know where to buy scripts and if youve read any what are some really enjoyable scripts with good dialogue and description. im thinking of reading the fight club script and the inglourious basterds script, please give me your opinion!

    Answer by 4thesakeofargument
If you PM me, I can give you a lot of scripts for free…

    My four favorite scripts are:

Inglorious Basterds – to teach action beats.
    Moneyball – to teach descriptions
Rachel Getting Married – to teach how to write women and different characters
Aliens – to teach format – action movies tend to have very clear act breaks, inciting incidents, yadda, yadda, yadda…

  4. Any good non Shakespearean scripts? I am 16, and has just now realized that i wanted to become an actress and a writer, mainly an actress. I have tried writing some of my own scripts but i want to practice some good works first to improve. any suggestions please?

    Answer by Alexis
when i wanted to practice a monologue, i used to usually read the back of like a shampoo bottle or fragrance as if i were advertising it in a commercial! because i was modelling 3 years ago when i was 10 and starting acting and when you first begin commercials are one of the things you have to begin with. So read the description of a perfume bottle or something (for ex, my was: a doubly sweet hydration sensation, 2 layers of skin conditioners and fragrance mix up for soft scented skin. Shake well, spritz on and get fresh with a soft, scented smell) lol. Its kind of weird but it helps.
I also had my mom write me fake cover girl commercial scripts. But if you wanna do tv/movie ones, search up the script to your favorite movie or tv show online or just search up a script website. There is tons of them :) hope this helped!

Custom Art for the Masses

On one fateful day, I found a message with "click here" written on it. Going to the link in that message took me to something that would help me out more than I thought it would. The link went to a website where I could get templates for invoices. This didn't really mean much to me at the time when I found it, but later on, it became quite useful. I came up with the idea of starting a business from my home, and the invoice template came in handy, because I was able to send it out to my customers after making a purchase.

I've always been a person who likes to draw and paint, but I never thought about doing it for money. One of my relatives saw one of my paintings, and she said that it was so good that she wanted to buy it. I insisted on giving it to her for free, but she told me that my work deserved to have money exchanged for it. She gave me one good piece of advice, and that was if you are good at something, it's worth having people pay for it. At that moment, I decided to sell paintings and drawings.

I have a website that displays a sample of my works. People can order those works from that website, or they can choose to have a custom piece of work made for them. I ship the drawings to customers in a rolled tube and I ship the paintings while they are still on the canvas. I've gotten a lot of interesting requests from people. One of the strangest things that someone has asked for me to paint was an image of a married couple having sex. They wanted to hang the image in their bedroom.
